We are responsible for the distribution of safe drinking water to agricultural, residential, and commercial customers in our 82-square mile service area that includes the unincorporated communities of Rainbow, Bonsall, and parts of Vista, Oceanside, and Fallbrook. Application Procedures
Rainbow Water District posts job openings and accepts applications through our online career portal. Applications for employment are only accepted when there is a posted job vacancy. All applications received after the advertised closing date and time will not be considered.
A resume may be included with the application; however, it will NOT be accepted in lieu of the District's employment application. The recruitment selection process can take approximately 30-90 days to complete. Applicants accepted for consideration of employment will be subject to a background investigation and drug testing. All new hires will be required to present documents establishing personal identity and the legal right to work in the United States.
