Founded in 1953, Rainbow Water treats and delivers water to over 8,800 water customers and 3,260 sewer customers within an 82-square mile service area. As a small government agency, Rainbow Water works
tirelessly to maintain service 24 hours a day and 365 days per year.

New Service Accounts

For a new/proposed OWNER to transfer water/sewer service into their name please complete the form below at least seven business days PRIOR to the scheduled close of escrow date to allow time for processing. Submissions received less than seven days before close of escrow will not be completed on the day of escrow closing.

For quick and easy access to account activity please contact a customer service team member three to five days after the close of escrow to obtain your new account number and register on the Rainbow Water online portal

Your water/sewer services will be billed monthly. Billing invoices reflect the amount of water used in the previous month. Applicable fixed charges are also included every month whether usage occurs or not and payment is due regardless of receiving an invoice. Meters are read every 26 to 35 days.

Please Note: It is solely the customer’s responsibility to install, maintain, and replace Pressure Reducing Valve(s) after the meter to protect their plumbing systems from high pressures and any related property damage from leaks resulting from high pressures, even if the District has its own PRV before the meter:

Administrative Code Section 8.21.010 At the time a meter application is first received, the District will inform each Customer as to the expected range of pressures at which water maybe delivered to the Customer. The Customer shall have the sole responsibility of installing pressure regulators to reduce the water pressure of water served by the District to that pressure desired by the Customer. All pressure regulators hereinafter acquired by a Customer shall be at the Customer’s expense and shall be installed on the Customer’s side of the meter by the Customer, or by their duly authorized agent. Customers in areas with pressure greater than 150 psi must sign a high water pressure agreement that is recorded on the property.
