Steve Coffey serves as Deputy Operations Manager, overseeing System Operations, Valve Maintenance, and Pumps & Motors, and providing leadership support to the Construction and Wastewater teams.

Steve's career with Rainbow Water began in 2004 in janitorial and landscaping services. He subsequently advanced through positions in Meter Services and Construction, and became a System Operator in 2006. His dedication to continuous learning and operational excellence led to promotions to Lead System Operator in 2018, Water Operations Supervisor in 2020, and Deputy Operations Manager in 2025.

Steve holds a Certificate in Water Management & Leadership from California State University San Marcos and a Certificate in Water Technology Education from Palomar College. He also holds Grade 5 Water Distribution Operator and Grade T4 Water Treatment Operator certifications.
