San Diego County Recovery works to maximize disaster assistance to eligible public and private entities and residents though various state and federal disaster assistance programs. Unincorporated County residents affected by the wildfires may call the Recovery Assistance Hotline at (858) 495-5200 or email CountyFireRecovery@sdcounty.ca.gov both will be staffed by County employees from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week. Callers can leave a voice mail and County staff will return their call the next day.
There is also a Local Assistance Center (LAC) set up at the Vista Library and will be open for assistance beginning Monday, December 11, 2017 until at least December 16, 2017 at 700 Eucalyptus Avenue, Vista, CA 92084. Operating hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
