About the Plants
Through partnerships with Fallbrook nurseries, Grow with the Flow distributes drought-tolerant plants that reduce outdoor water use by as much as 85%. The succulent plants attract pollinators like butterflies and hummingbirds, add color, and visual appeal to your garden.
Participants will receive:
- Large flat of approximately 100 four-inch succulents.
- Seven five-gallon established premium sized plants.
- A complimentary succulent gardening guide.
FAQ's
Can I select my own plants?
Plants are reserved ahead of time for each customer. Due to the large quantity of plants, customers will not be able to hand-pick plants.
Are the plants free to anyone?
All plants distributed are free to customers accepted to the Grow with the Flow program.
How is this program funded?
The Grow with the Flow program is funded through a grant from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and is a collaborative effort with Rainbow Water and Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD). Customers must apply through their water provider and be accepted to the program.
Can you help with planting the succulents or teach me how to plant?
Online and in-person landscape classes are available to help customers plan their garden before planting. Scroll down to learn more about our landscape classes from Metropolitan Water District. Find a certified water-efficient landscape professional near you by visiting Metropolitan's website BeWaterWise.com
Do I need to do anything else after I receive the plants?
As part of the grant program, participants must plant the succulents in their yard and provide a follow up photo after plant installation. A follow up email will be sent with details on where to send your photos and share your experience.
