Give Blood at Rainbow Water District

Be a hero for your local community by donating blood at Rainbow Water District's Blood Drive in partnership with San Diego Blood Bank. The semi-annual blood drive will have the added component of online screenings with Scripps Living Kidney Donor Program. Learn about the process of becoming a living donor and help us take one step closer to finding a kidney donor for a long-time Rainbow Water team member. 

Your donation can make a difference and help replenish blood supply for local patients. Every gift of blood supports Southern California hospitals and brings hope to saves lives.

Free Gift: Blood donors receive a complimentary ticket to SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream, Rainbow Water tote bag and reusable water bottle. Gifts available while supplies last. 

Help Save Lives in Our Community with a Blood Donation 

• One blood donation can help save up to three lives.
• All San Diego Blood Bank donations go to local hospitals in Southern California including trauma centers and neonatal intensive care units.
• Donors make a real difference for children and families facing difficult journeys.

To be eligibile to donate blood, San Diego Blood Bank requires donors to:

• Be in good health and at least 17 years old
• Be free of major cold or flu-like symptoms
• Have a photo ID with birthdate
