The project is for the installation of 1,761 linear feet of 18-inch transmission main water pipeline along Gird Road between Mary Lewis Drive and Oak Creek Circle. The existing pipeline in the area is undersized, which limits the efficient conveyance of potable water from the Metropolitan Water District connections to the District and its Morro Reservoir. The project should be completed within a 3-month period starting in late Summer 2022 and ending in early Winter. The District will be constructing this project with its in-house Construction Team and partnering with Bonsall Unified School District to store construction material on their property off Gird Road. Appropriate traffic control will be set up during project construction.
